Mullins Short Stop in Columbus

A little pricier than I was anticipating, but the food was good.

The steak sandwich is awesome a bit expensive but delicious! Cheese curds are YUMMY! The Icecream is wonderful! They are closing for the season 8/28/19 so hurry over.

Good food & nice friendly service . Will stop again if in the area.

Very pricey for what you get! 3 burgers 2 fries 2 drinks $34.I think the prices stayed the same and portions got smaller. Food was really good but never again for that price. It is too bad because this was a great place.

SO DELICIOUSthey're root beer floats are my favorite! their chicken tenders are also so good. beautiful outdoor seating (only outdoor seating) which I love because its perfect for summer time. They typically open in may somewhere around may 15-30. My favorite small business.

We love finding little places that have simple menus but good food. We enjoyed our burgers, grilled chicken sandwich and onion rings! Next time we are in Columbus we will stop again.

Classic and essential Columbus destination! If you are ever lucky enough to come through Columbus in the summer stop here for a meal or ice cream! Service is top notch.

Have to eat here once or twice a summer. They have cut back on their menu to the drive-in basics. I had the cheeseburger. It was delicious. Social distanced by eating in my car. All meals were indivudually served in a small brown bag. Thus kept one's food away from others and made clean-up easy........everything went back into the bag and then into the garbage can.

Always good food, Black Cows and homemade Root Beer! A little pricey for burgers and fries, but you get a good portion of food. Like an old fashioned Root Beer stand!

A little pricey,the burgers are big and the fries and cheese curds are so GOOD. And the rootbeer. I would go there every other 2 weeks.love it:)

Mullins Short Stop is a fun old-fashioned drive in. Come here for delicious frozen treats and tasty hot food. The fish sandwich is amazing! If you can't picture what this place is like, think Dairy Queen, but more local and with yummier food. It has outdoor covered picnic table seating, so no air conditioning. There are two small parks within sight, so you can play off any calories afterwards. It's a great place for kids and grownups.

Hand made burgers and black cows. Best burger in the area.

This spot sure knows how to satisfy their customers. Always with a kind demeanor. The food is reasonably priced, regularly yummy and clean.

I really have loved this place the last several years. The grilled chicken was my favorite until I visited this year and it was taken off the menu. Burgers are smaller than previous years which is fine but for the price I would have expected a bit more. Pretty disappointed, I likely won't be going back.

Mom and pop root beer stand. Just like the old days! Have hamburgers, sides, drinks, ice cream. Good sized portions. A small local business.

Amazing food. Yes a little over priced but its quality food. Try a shake they are amazing. I bring my kids all the time they perfer it over culvers

Mullin's Short Stop in Columbus is a great place to go for a quick bite to eat and have an ice cream treat. They have excellent service with little to no wating time.

Love this place when it’s open. Good food too! Just wish the servings was more consistent. I never know how much to order cuz portions vary. Always tip the help well because they are kids. It’s worth the stop when driving thru Columbus.

Stopped for ice cream while camping nearby. It was good. But they have a very limited amount of choices. Might've just been thanks to the rona. Worth coming back to.

Food is delicious with some of the best deep fried cheese curds 😬 and Sassy Cow ice cream...need I say more 💜

What a pleasant surprise! Stopped here for a snack while waiting for the train, this turned into a meal. Good BBQ sandwich and service.

My first experience here was a fantastic one. The food was great, ice cream perfect and the friendly workers don't hurt the image either! Not many pieces of authentic Americana left and I for one hope this one stays forever!

The staff was friendly, service was good. The burgers we ordered were lacking in flavor...seasoning would be a must...salt and pepper please! My husband and I ordered the cheeseburger deluxe...way to big of a burger. Add a smaller size like a quarter pound instead. Rather pricey.

Use to be one of my families favorite place in Columbus that we couldn’t wait for them to open. Unfortunately can’t say the same anymore. Changed to an even smaller limited menu. No chicken sandwiches anymore. No hot dogs. Changed burger size from 1/3 pound the 1/4 pound size but kept the price almost the same as last year. Can’t even get any lettuce or tomato as options for their burgers either. And their one size cone is a good portion but not if you have small children... why only have the one size when families come here????? Servers are always friendly..

Great little place to stop.

Very good food, everything is oversized. Wish they had a smaller version or basket pricing though. We try to get there once a year for a treat. Been going to this place since for over 40 years. Food quality has always been high, very tasty road side A&W style yummy. I recommend going out of your way for this stop. Check the hours as they are seasonal, outdoor eating only, car hops included.

Good food fun drive up atmosphere. Little pricey but it is tasty .

I won't be returning. $6 for a McDonald's sized burgers. They didn't even put a napkin in the bag. Very disappointed.

This is a great little hamburger and ice cream stop with actual car hops. There is no indoor seating but there are nice picnic tables under a roof.

Burgers needed salt and pepper, ice cream was delish
